Luxury Meets Rustic Comfort at Mallity Estate

A styled shoot at Mallity Estate felt like a full circle moment, but not for the reasons you may think. At 23 years old, I met Lexine. She was a POWERHOUSE in the Ottawa Wedding Photography scene and I had the distinct pleasure of watching her and her many businesses grow right alongside our friendship. When we were 26 years old, she told me she had PURCHASED a wedding venue (like excuse me?)

FINALLY, we were able to work together again and collaborate on this gorgeous shoot. The wonderful team sent over inspiration that gave me the immediate feel of rustic luxury, words not often spoken together. You'll see immediately the feeling of warmth, comfort, and upscale accommodations that we got to experience as part of this shoot.

We couldn't decide which wedding gowns to bring as a part of this day so we kind of sent over, well everything.

The first dress after I was sent the mood board was the Madison gown. This dress is a love letter to clean lines and simplicity structured. A strapless drop waist satin ivory gown with a touch of peekaboo lace, CMON GUYS. An instant classic.

The next gown we brought was Klein. My thought process was to show off some of my favourite 2026 wedding trends, all wrapped into a single gown. The Klein gown shows off a basque waist, a unique jacquard textured print, AND it is extremely lightweight and comfortable.

So yes, this was a totally full circle moment for us. Thank you for having us be a part of this special shoot.
