Briar

Briar is what happens when classic bridal meets modern fairy tale. Featuring an allover floral-embroidered tulle and a romantic strapless neckline, this gown is equal parts whimsical and wow. The structured bodice gives you that snatched-in feeling, while the full A-line skirt brings the dreamy volume. 

Briar is the drama queen of this season! A full on ballgown with hand placed graphic lace on the skirt and bodice and detachable puffed sleeves. You can wear the sleeves on or off the shoulder. The skirt features not 1, not 2 but 6 layers of tulle and netting, along with an built in crinoline so that you can make a grand entrance. But what is a ballgown without pockets? Of course we have put pockets in this ballgown!

Our size 12 combo is a beautiful "magic" colour mix of blushes and greys. Our size 22 is a classic silk white mix.

The Briar is a part of our collection from Kathryn Bass, the majority of the gowns we have available from this designer range from $3000-5000. The exact price depends on the customizations and add-ons chosen! Feel free to contact us for an estimate

Is there a rush timeline available for Briar ?

Yes! Kathryn Bass is available to rush some gowns as quick as two weeks. If you are under 6 months away from your wedding day, we will talk through rush options during your appointment

What is the sizing of Briar ?

The Briar is available in the Always Knew I Needed showroom in bridal sample sizes 12 and 22. After you say the big "yes to the dress", we take measurements and order your closest size (split sizing available). Once your gown arrives, we will book you in with our in-house alterations team where our senior seamstresses will refine the fit.
